If your kit is not on this list, count the knobs and switch positions on your own control cavity before you wire anything. A different control count needs a different diagram.

Before you start

  • Both kits on this list are solderless. Every lead is already fitted with its connector, so you are plugging parts together, not making joints.
  • Match connections by position as drawn, not by wire color. Wire colors change between production batches.
  • Route the leads clear of the saddle slot and the cavity cover before you close it up.
  • A piezo only makes a signal under string pressure, so test through an amp once the guitar is strung, before you refit the cover.
