This is our complete catalog of DIY guitar kits. Every style we carry is here: solid body electrics, semi-hollow builds, acoustic kits, and bass guitars. Each kit arrives with a pre-shaped body, a carved neck, tuning machines, a bridge, pickups, and all the wiring you need.
We designed these kits for builders who want a real instrument, not a toy. The wood is properly dried, the frets are installed, and the hardware fits without modification on most builds. Your job is the finish work, the wiring, and the final setup.
If you are new to building, start with a bolt-on solid body kit. The neck attaches with screws, so alignment is forgiving and you can adjust it later. More experienced builders might want a set-neck or semi-hollow kit for a bigger challenge. Either way, our kits ship with everything you need except finishing supplies and a few hand tools. Browse the full collection below and filter by body style, pickup type, or price to find your next build.

Bolt-on necks are easiest to build and adjust, set-neck joints offer more sustain, and neck-through construction provides the smoothest upper fret access.
Most guitar kits use a 24.75 inch or 25.5 inch scale length, which affects string tension and the spacing between frets.
Check the pickup type, potentiometer values, and switching layout. Some kits include coil-split wiring for extra tonal range.
Every kit includes a pre-shaped body, a fretted neck, tuning machines, a bridge, pickups, pots, a switch, a jack, knobs, and all mounting screws. You supply the finish, solder, and tools.
Yes. You can swap pickups, change the finish, upgrade tuners, and modify the wiring. Many builders use our kits as a starting platform and personalize from there.
The raw materials are comparable to instruments in the 300 to 500 USD range. The difference is that you do the finish work and setup yourself, which means you control every detail of how it plays and sounds.
