Where We Ship From

Guitar Kit World ships from two warehouses:

  • United States warehouse — Ships to U.S. addresses. Most orders arrive within 6–12 business days.
  • International warehouse (China) — Ships worldwide to over 100 countries using UPS, FedEx, or Express Mail Service (EMS). Most orders arrive within 2–6 weeks depending on your destination.

All Custom Shop kits are shipped from Shandong, China.

Duty-Free Shipping for U.S. Customers

Orders shipped from our U.S. warehouse are delivered with no customs duties, no import taxes, and no surprise fees. Your kit ships from our U.S. warehouse directly to your door.

Where Does Guitar Kit World Ship?

We ship to over 100 countries. To find out if we ship to yours, visit our Contact Us page or add a product to your cart — eligible shipping options will appear at checkout.

Please note: for international orders, factors outside our control — including how long the destination country holds stock for inspection — may affect delivery times. Once your guitar kit arrives in the destination country, Guitar Kit World is no longer responsible for the delivery. If a delivery has been unsuccessful, we recommend contacting your local post office.

Undelivered packages may be returned to us after a specified period. If this happens, we will keep you updated and can arrange redelivery, but all associated costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We are unable to ship to PO Box or APO/FPO/DPO addresses at this time.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on all orders over $45 for customers in the contiguous United States.

We also offer free shipping on select products from our international warehouse to over 100 countries. Add a product to your cart and check the checkout page to see if free shipping is available for your location.

Custom Shop Orders

Custom Shop kits are built to order. The stated delivery period is approximate. While every effort is made to deliver within or close to the estimated timeframe, some orders may take longer to produce. We appreciate your patience — your guitar kit will be worth the wait.

Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Local Fees

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other local fees as determined by your country's customs authorities. These charges depend on your location and the value of your order.

For an estimate, contact your local customs office or use a free tool like simplyduty.com.

These fees are not covered by Guitar Kit World and must be paid by the customer. If your package is returned to us due to non-payment of customs charges or failure to claim the parcel, an $80 handling fee will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping and processing costs. Tracking Numbers

A tracking number is supplied at the time of dispatch. Track your delivery at guitarkitworld.com/track.

For international orders, it is normal for tracking not to update for up to 4–5 weeks. Your kit is still on the way.
